My name is Mr. John Stratton. This is my eighteenth year teaching. My first four years were at Osage County R-1 School in Chamois, Missouri teaching high school social studies. Since the fall of 2002, I have been teaching at Dent Phelps R-3 Elementary School.
I was born in Kansas City, Missouri and raised in Washington, Missouri where I graduated in 1986. Less than a month later, I was in the Navy where I served aboard the USS Truxtun as an Operation Specialists for four years.
I graduated College of the Ozarks in 1995 with a bachelor's degree in Social Studies and Secondary Education.
I look forward to many more years of teaching the students at Dent Phelps R-3.
